About us

“Bajs” is the official public bicycle system of the City of Zagreb, launched in August 2025. with the aim of promoting sustainable mobility and a healthier lifestyle. This modern and environmentally friendly service enables simple, fast and affordable movement around the city – it is available to all citizens and visitors of Zagreb, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The system includes 2,000 classic bicycles equipped with GPS devices, distributed at 180 locations throughout the city. The use of bicycles is made possible through the Nextbike mobile application, available in the App Store, Google Play and Huawei AppGallery stores.

The service is managed by the operator company Sustava javnih bicikala d.o.o., with its registered office at Prisavlje 2, 10000 Zagreb. As a licensed partner of Nextbike GmbH from Leipzig, Germany, we ensure high standards of quality, safety and user experience.
